Brown, Arnold Lee, 89, of Hanover and formerly of Morefield and North Vernon died Wednesday May 16th at Thornton Terrace Nursing Center in Hanover. He was born on July29, 1922 in Crab Orchard, Ky. The son of Virgil and Vina Brown.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran’s of WWII where he served aboard the U.S.S. Boston. Arnold worked in Heating and Air Conditioning business and later farmed in Switzerland County until his retirement. He was a member of the Mt. Byrd Christian Church and a member of the Masons.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, six of his brothers and sisters, His beloved wife, Zola, He is survived by two sisters, Mary Ardeth Alexander, and Delma Fullam, Two sons, Ronald Eugene Brown of North Vernon, and David Lynn Brown of Crown Point, five Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren and one great great grandson, as well as several nieces and nephews
